Houses and Homes is a photography series that looks further at the 18th and 19th-century classical Finnish wooden houses. Focusing on their uniqueness together with their similarities, this series creates a collection of safe places from an outsider's point of view; an insider, who remains an outsider because of both visible and invisible barriers, differences in verbal and non-verbal expressions, in encoding and decoding systems.
